Looking FORWARD into twenty10

Is it twenty10 already?!

Gosh that past year brought so many great things and so many sad things!

It was sad to say goodbye to Fort Bliss, leaving behind all of our wonderful friends and loved ones!! I sure do miss ALL of them, every day! But it brought great things as well, we are back in Georgia, although it's going to be short lived, we're still able to be closer to our families! I can't believe how much time has actually flown by since we've moved here. Blake started back to school on Monday and it won't be too much longer before he graduates! I can't wait!! New beginnings this year!!

We'll be kicking off February with our 3rd anniversary(first one spent together)! Then heading to Maryland in May for a "new start"! I have also decided to put education on the back burner, at least for a while. I've decided that I might like to try the Dental Hygiene field...so we'll see if I like this "new beginning", or not?! Hootie will be 3 in April! I can't believe we've had him that long....He grows way too fast everyday! What will I say about our kids, when we actually have one? :(

Look forward to our "new beginnings"....we sure are!

It's time to Fall Back!

Hello everyone! Once again, it's been a few months since I've posted, but we have been a little busy! We have FINALLY moved back to Georgia, atleast only for the time being! No idea currently how long we will be here! As long as Blake is happy with what he is doing then all is well! It is so nice to be back on the east coast. Seeing all of the beautiful trees and smelling that good ol fall smell! Mmm mmm nothing like it! However, we could do without this rain! BUT thank you Lord for this rain. You know how much it was needed here and you are seeing that we get it back! Halloween is on Saturday and it will be time to fall back then! DON'T forget to set your clocks! So many things have happened in the past two months, its unreal! I'm not going to blabber about everything but God is truly blessing us in ways we never imagined! Just pray for us and all the trials that Uncle Sam throws our way! Thank you to everyone who made our move from Texas to Georgia complete and easy:

Angie and Chad
Anna and Austin
Char
Robin, Owen, and Brit
Mom, Becca, and Haley
Meme and Papa
Connie(for watching Hoot ;))
Donna Johnson

We really couldn't have made the move and got the house without all of y'alls help! Very much appreciated and we love you all!!

I hope everyone has a happy turkey day, and remember to give thanks for all the many blessings bestowed upon your life!

I will try to stay posted before then, if not....maybe later!

July, oh sweet July

Hey everyone!

It IS July...already!? Over halfway through the year I CAN'T believe it! But I'm also very excited, all the same! Not too much longer and we'll be heading back to Georgia....leaving Hel Paso behind! It will be a sad day to leave friends, however not a sad day to leave Bliss!

We just got back from a LONG overdo vacation! We headed to Vegas...for a little bit of relaxation and fun! And the trip was just that! This was the first vacation that Blake and I have gone on together in our 2 1/2 years of marriage! It was very nice, comfortable, relaxing, fun, and romantic! I encourage EVERYONE to go to Vegas at some point in your life! It is definitely worth it!

Not too much more going on here in the midwest, but I will hopefully be updating a little more often than I currently am!

I hope that everyone is having a WONDERFUL July!!

Shout Outs:

CONGRATS:
Amanda & Enrique - 2 beautiful baby boys!!
Melissa & Chris - a VERY beautiful baby girl!!

June announcement!
Congrats Meme & Papa for 50 yrs together!

I can't believe how long it's been since I've posted...Almost a Year! So many things have happened...Blake is finally back home from his long overdue return! We are very happy that he is back home and looking forward to so many things that we can do together! We only have a few more months left here in El Paso and then we'll be Georgia bound once again! This time we'll be heading to Ft. Gordon! Blake reenlisted while he was overseas and chose a new job, that's why our path is changing! But we'll be thrilled to be a little bit closer to our families! 1400 miles is just a little too far away! Our little Hoot turned another year older! He's 2 now and THANKFULLY growing out of his mischievous phase....SLOWLY! lol He pretty much sleeps all of the time now! But he's still as adorable and sweet as ever! He misses his Meme&Papa/QB/Haley/Connie(get her!) lol

Well I just wanted to post with that little bit for now!

I hope that everyone has a wonderful memorial day and please remember the reason that we celebrate it!

-Blakes Trip Home-

Hey Everyone!!

It's been a while since I've posted! Blake was home for a few weeks and I was spending some well-needed quality time with him! But never-the-less, I didn't forget about everyone else!

Blake being home was awesome! We had tons of fun together and spent a lot of time with family, friends, and our little animals! We had some fun at the aquarium, as well as some fun watching tv shows back to back on the computer(thanks blake)! Lol But more importantly we just got to spend time in each others arms! You never realize how much you miss someone until they're gone for so long, then they come home, and they're gone again with the snap of your fingers! It's sad...but he'll come home again-and next time for good! I can't wait!!

Other than this...not too much more going on! Classes started on Thursday and it's already insane! 4 hrs of class followed by atleast 10 pages of homework...in ONE day! Can't wait to see how the rest of the semester is gonna go! WOO HOO!!

Well I'll close with this: TOMORROW is Rupert's First Birthday! YAY! I love my dogs soooo much! I hope everyone has a great week!!

God Bless

Hey everyone!
Today has been one exciting day! We celebrated Hootie's first birthday and it was sooo much fun! I bought him a new shirt. I think it was just a little too big for him, but he wore it with so much pride! He also got to enjoy his first bowl of apple torte. Made especially for dogs! He was so adorable and so sweet. I can't believe he's already one year old (7 years old in dog years)! Time goes by way to fast!
